"The power house couple behind Avalon"

​Billy and Sherilyn Attended High School together but it wasn't until twenty years later ​their paths crossed again.

This time sparks flew and 25 years later they continue to be writing their love story!
Owning and running a salon was not in their original career plans. Sherilyn's daughter Natalie was working at the original Avalon as a receptionist. 

​At the time Avalon was a full service salon.
​The then owner got sick and wanted to sale. About the same time Sherilyn worked for AT&T thought she was going to be surplussed and told Billy that she thought she would enjoy owning a salon. Being the loving Husband that he is Billy bought it for her.

Fate has it that running the salon was not in Sherilyn's cards but in Billy's. Sherilyn did not get surplussed and retired June 2021 after 34 years with the company. After attending The Art Institute of Chicago, Billy was the right person at the right time to step up and run the salon.
Almost 19 years later.. after renaming, and moving up the hill Avalon is now more successful than ever.

MEET NATALIE

​Natalie is a guiding force at our salon, she's not only a seasoned Master Stylist with 19+ years in the industry,
but also our dedicated Salon Educator. 

As one of the owners daughter, her legacy is interwoven with the salon's story. 

Beyond her exceptional skills, Natalie's influence extends to strategic business decisions,
​playing a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations.
